What we collect, and why.

Last updated April 28, 2026 · DRAFT, legal review pending

In one sentence

Voxelis runs anonymous analytics on this website, gated behind a consent banner. If you don't accept analytics, we collect nothing beyond what your browser sends to load the page.

What we collect when you accept

When you accept analytics, two services run in your browser:

  • PostHog: page visits, button clicks, scroll depth, time on page, browser/device class, referring URL, UTM campaign parameters, and Core Web Vitals (page-speed metrics). PostHog also records anonymized session replays of interactions on the site, with form input fields masked. PostHog runs in the United States; we use IP-anonymization at the property level.
  • Google Analytics 4: the same page-visit and event data, sent to a separate Google property for cross-checking. IP anonymization on, Google Signals off, ad personalization off.

We never sell or share this data with advertisers. We don't run retargeting pixels.

What we collect when you contact us

Email links on this site open your mail app pre-filled with a subject line. When you send the message, we receive your email address and whatever you wrote, that's it. The contact form (when it ships) will post the same fields plus a few attribution parameters (which page you came from, the UTM campaign if any) to our internal CRM. We use that to follow up.

Cookies

With analytics on, three cookies may be set:

  • PostHog distinct-id cookie: anonymous identifier so we can stitch together your visit. 12-month expiry.
  • _ga / _ga_*. Google Analytics anonymous identifiers. 13-month expiry, automatically expired by the GA library.
  • voxelis_consent_v1: your consent choice itself. 12-month expiry. Stored in localStorage, not a cookie strictly speaking.

With analytics off, none of the above are set. We do not use cookies for ads, tracking, or fingerprinting under any setting.

Do Not Track

We respect the browser Do Not Track signal: if your browser sends DNT and you haven't explicitly opted into analytics, no analytics events fire.

How to opt out

Use the link in the footer at any time. Switching analytics off clears your distinct-id and stops further events. You can also clear site data via your browser to revoke the choice.

Data residency

The site is served from Cloudflare's global edge. Analytics events are sent to PostHog (United States) and Google (United States, with regional sub-processors). If you're contacting us from the EU, the analytics consent you give acts as the lawful basis for this transfer under the GDPR's standard contractual clauses.

Children

Voxelis sells aviation systems and platform access to organisations. The site is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes

When this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes. Material changes trigger a fresh consent prompt.
