Welcome to the Voxelis blog

What we'll publish here, and what you should expect from us.

Colin O'Neill

We started Voxelis to build the AI layer for crewed aviation: onboard sensing, edge compute, and the connectivity to operate alongside the crew. This is where we’ll write about that work.

What we expect to publish:

  • Engineering notes. How we run dual-NVIDIA Orin compute on a 7 kg airframe-mounted payload. What goes wrong at altitude. How we test against the BC fire season.
  • Mission posts. What real wildfire response looks like with VoxVision in the air. SAR coordination. ISR fleet economics.
  • Platform updates. New capabilities shipped through VoxNet, new sensor configurations, the model updates that arrive over the air.
  • Hiring posts. What we’re working on, what we’re looking for, why a given role exists.

Posts will be technical where the topic is technical, plain-language where it’s not. We’ll cite real numbers when we can. We’ll mark anything speculative clearly.

If there’s something you want us to write about, email hello@voxelis.ai.
